The 12-Week Wedding Tan Timeline (Bride or Groom)

By then, you're rushing — and rushing leads to over-tanning, uneven color, or the dreaded last-minute spray tan disaster. Here's the 12-week plan our wedding clients in Geneseo, Avon, Livonia, and across Livingston County have used for decades.

Weeks 12–9: The Foundation

• Schedule a consultation with our staff (free)
• Begin a gentle exfoliation routine — 2x per week
• Start a daily moisturizing habit — your skin needs to be hydrated weeks in advance
• If you're new to tanning, do 1 trial session in a Level 1 bed to gauge your skin's response

Weeks 8–5: Build the Base

• 1–2 UV sessions per week, starting in Level 1 or Level 2
• Use a quality bronzing lotion every session
• Begin lightening or evening any tan lines you don't want in your photos

Weeks 4–2: Deepen and Refine

• Move into Level 2 Turbo or Level 3 beds — 2 sessions per week
